Research & Innovation (R&I)
Our R&I efforts focus on four key areas:
Exploring advanced and post-quantum cryptographic methods to enhance data protection, identity assurance, and secure communications across defence and enterprise systems.
Investigating hardware and embedded systems, including Software Defined Radio (SDR), edge compute platforms, and IoT technologies, to enable resilient, high-trust capabilities at the tactical and operational edge.
Assessing quantum computing, sensing, and simulation technologies to understand their future impact on cybersecurity, data processing, and mission-critical workloads.
Capturing exploratory or cross-domain innovations such as AI/ML applications, automation, DevSecOps tooling, and open-source integrations that contribute to Argo’s long-term capability roadmap.

CyberCENTS®
Argo have partnered with our American cousins, By Light, focused on Cyber operations Enhanced Network & Training Simulators (CyberCENTS). CyberCENTS serves as an on-premises or a SaaS virtual training ground for cybersecurity professionals. They practice defending against cyber threats, develop effective strategies, and test new tools—all within a controlled environment. The product features, like the virtualised Internet and extensive attack libraries, empower users to learn, adapt, and stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.
